Since 2020 I curate and organize KOMMA.
KOMMA is the platform for interdisciplinary research at PARK. It offers artists outside the field of visual art an opportunity to respond from their own discipline to the current exhibition or to individual works within it.
KOMMA offers an autonomous response, reflection or adaptation to the visual art that is present in PARK.
PARK plans two comments per exhibition. The artists are selected in consultation with our cooperation partners and through open calls. The performances includes Dance, Choreography, Music, sound, Poem, Text, Spoken Word, Visuals, Theater, etc.
PIT | Project Initiative Tilburg
In 2008, I founded PIT, an independent and nomadic art initiative. PIT provides a platform for art projects, exhibitions, and other artistic initiatives. To realize its projects, PIT works in a variety of (art) contexts, ranging from artist-run spaces and initiatives to galleries.
In 2024, new and inspiring plans will be brought to life. Stay tuned.
Since the founding of PARK in 2013 I have been part of the staff. At this moment the Park staff consists of Rob Moonen (coordinator), Linda Arts, René Korten, Rob Moonen and Lieven van den Bijgaart. The staff curates the exhibitions and activities and is responsible for its organization.
PARK is a platform for contemporary Beelende that organizes exhibition projects in the formal Goretti chapel at Wilhelminapark in Tilburg. Five to six projects and a summer residence are realized every year with, where possible, a matching window program in the form of lectures, arts conversations, music and film.
Graphic Studio Daglicht is a graphic studio in Eindhoven where professional artists make their graphic work. From 1999 to 2017 I was one of the studio assistants and closely involved with this space. I organized many workshops, exhibitions and projects.
